The Bible is written by the inspiration of God given to us to shine light into the darkness, to show us the way, the truth, and the life. Thinking on the things of the flesh, the things of this world, brings us death. But the Word isn’t from the world. It’s from God. It is not fleshly or carnal; it is spirit and truth.
It doesn’t make sense to our carnal mind because it’s not the way we think; it’s the way the Lord Almighty thinks. His ways are above our ways, and His thoughts are above our thoughts.
The world’s way is bondage, suffering, and toiling. While God’s way is grace through faith, not by your own works, but it’s a gift of God.
It takes time, but God wants your mind to be renewed by the Word.
His Words, His thoughts, and His desires become one with you.
When you were born again, your Spirit was transformed, and your spirit united with Christ’s Spirit, who now lives in you.
Your Spirit is born again, made new, transformed into the image of Jesus our Savior.
Though your spirit is now perfect and has everything you need for life and godliness right there within you, that power of God doesn’t affect your life without renewing your mind.
Your soul is your mind, will, and emotions. These have to come into alignment (agreement) with what’s in your spirit before you see the promises.
YOUR SOUL IS THE CONDUIT THROUGH WHICH THE POWER OF GOD FLOWS.
The only way to bring your soul into agreement is by studying the Word until it becomes a part of you.
This agreement is called faith.
Faith is complete confidence in God’s goodness and ability.
When you believe what God has done is real and is for you today, you will see the goodness of God in the land of the living.
This agreement, alignment, and confidence must not just happen in your mind but in your whole heart.
